Located in the heart of Cambridgeshire, UK, Grant Instruments have always been incredibly supportive of the wider community. Supporting local clubs and societies in the area has always brought the company a great sense of pride, their relationship with our Club is no exception.
With the Foyer at Newmarket Leisure Centre having undergone refurbishment, the club lost their trophy cabinet and was left in desperate need of a replacement to display the array of trophies, medals and information dating back many years.
Grant were only too happy to oblige. With a link already established between club and company through Lisa Withers (right), Product Manager at Grant Instruments and also Membership Secretary at Newmarket and District Swimming Club, the company was able to source and supply a new cabinet, quickly and with little fuss.
Upon receiving the new cabinet, Chris Bellwood (left), Chairman of Newmarket and District Swimming Club said:
“Since the refurbishment of the foyer we have been without a trophy cabinet. Now thanks to Grant Instruments’ donation of a new (and improved) cabinet, we can not only show off our great achievements again but are highly visible to the general public who visit the Leisure Centre at Newmarket. So, on behalf of all at Newmarket & District Swimming Club I would like to thank Lisa and Grant Instruments for your fantastic generosity and support”.
Ludo Chapman, Managing Director of Grant Instruments said:
“Supporting the local community is something that has always been incredibly important to Grant, and so we are delighted to have been able to support Newmarket & District Swimming Club”.
