The plan is to put miscellaneous information on this page and the first gem is some background on our new coach Annette Skeet.
This is what she had to say when asked:

"I got involved in coaching when my daughter first joined West Suffolk Swimming Club in 2001. I was asked to get involved with the coaching partly because I had been a swimmer in my younger days and had a passion for the sport. I took my Level 1 exam in August 2002, and followed on with Child protection, Equity in Coaching, Working with Disabled Sports People and the National Rescue Award- (updated every two years)
My Level 2 came in 2003 with I/M, Team Manager, Safe and First aid.
I am now working my way through the new UKCC level 3 Course at Hatfield.
I also became a Timekeeper in 2003 and Judge in 2004.
I have coached at many levels, mostly with Age Group and below. I worked with the Transition and Rookie squads, writing and delivering my own sessions until April 2007 when I took over the Age Group Squad which included writing the six month plan, weekly sessions and delivering them on poolside 7 sessions a week. I also worked alongside the Head Coach up to seven sessions a week with the Regional and National squads."
