Masters have a great time at Sudbury valentines meet

The Sudbury Valentines Masters & Seniors Open Meet incorporating the Suffolk County ASA Masters & Seniors Championships was attended by nine competitors from Newmarket swimming club. Superb swims came from Ellie Frost, gaining a new personal best time in the 50m butterfly, and Lisa Withers with a PB in the 100m Individual Medley. The medal haul was impressive with the three Masters (over 25’s) attaining County Gold in all of their events. Jane Smith 5, Lisa Withers 4 and Peter Winter 4. However, the strongest competition was in the Seniors (16-24yrs) category where the team of Adam Kemp, Matt Reynolds, Ellie Frost, James Hood, Alyx Hatton and Livvii Curtin came home with 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 8 Bronze medals between them. Many thanks to both our team managers on the day, Abby Vine and Ashley Buck, and the Officials from Newmarket, Janette Hatton, Andy Reynolds and Paul Hood. Thank you for your support.
