Paralympic Trials 2016

Glasgow played host to the Paralympic Trials for Rio 2016, the Tollcross International Swimming Centre was centre stage for the trials and Peter Winter flew the flag for Newmarket Swimming Club at the event. Peter competed in 2 events first up was the 100m Freestyle even though finishing just off Personal Best he swum a strong race and finished 12th out of 14 in the S10 classification for Freestyle, the final race for Peters Trials was the 100m Breaststroke, Peter swum a terrific race finishing 1 second of his Personal Best and 9th out of 16 in the SB9 classification for Breaststroke. Peter is now getting ready to join his fellow Masters swimmers at the European Masters which will be held at the Olympic Park from the 25th till the 29th of May.
