Youth Regionals, Norwich UEA. April

Over three days of exciting racing, Newmarket Swim Club were well represented at the Youth regionals. Ignacio Laghero, Harry Wagner, Lauren Watt, Danni Rayner. Danni was first in the 200 fly and gained a 3 second PB, she also made the final of three other swims. Ignacio and Harry Wagner were both swimming well. Lauren Watt had PB's in all but one of her events and made seven finals. She came away with 3 Bronze medals in the 50m, 100m free and the 200m IM. Newmarket also fielded its first ever Regional relay team with Lauren Watt, Charlie Davis, Ciara Gill-Ryan and Saffiya Axon-coates swimming in both the 4 x 100m freestyle on the Saturday and the 4 x 100m medley on the Sunday.
